As a My Black is Beautiful and Pantene brand ambassador, Angelina was featured in national ads in Oprah, Ebony, and Essence magazines and profiled in Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, and BET.com and has hosted self-esteem workshops to inspire women, girls and young people across the country. She has also appeared in ad campaigns for 23andMe, Hairfinity, Harvard Business School, and more. C-Suite Coach is a preferred supplier for Google, with contracts ranging from Supplier Diversity consulting, content design for racial equity programs and servicing Black & Latino small businesses by supporting Google’s efforts in bridging the digital divide through tactical digital skills training. As a part of this work, C-Suite Coach staffs and manages 20 coaches who have offered free coaching and resources to over 60,000 US-based Black and LatinX small businesses through more than 900 programs across the US since 2018. C-Suite Coach has been featured in numerous media outlets, including Business Insider, Fast Company, Forbes, Thrive Global, Essence, and career sites such as Black Enterprise, Recruiter.com, and Monster.com. These efforts helped Angelina earn Walker’s Legacy Power25 award in 2017, the "Innovators & Disruptors: Diversity & Inclusion Award" presented by New York On Tech and NBC Universal, the Year Up Urban Empowerment Award in 2018, and the Digital Diversity Network 2019 Innovation and Inclusion for social entrepreneurship. Angelina has also supported small businesses as a mentor through General Assembly’s inaugural mentoring program. Prior to C-Suite Coach, Angelina was the Senior Manager of Digital Business Development at Viacom and did similar digital strategy work previously at ESPN. Darrisaw has presented at leading conferences, such as ATD Capital Region, SHRMLead, Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit, Black Enterprise FWD, Ebony Women Up, Google’s State of the Black Woman, 2016 Democratic National Convention, CultureCon, AdColor Futures, Hue Tech Summit, and many more. She holds a BA in political science from Davidson College,where she is an alumni board member, an MA in management from Wake Forest University, and a certificate of coaching from New York University. Lauren has long been committed to empowering and advocating for women, lending her expertise and sharing her own experience. She serves as an advisor to Pipeline Angels, a social enterprise that trains executive women to become angel investors. She is the founder of Straight Up and Successful, a community and personal and professional development company, and is the Founder and Creator of The Collab, an arts and culture club committed to championing artists of color and diversifying the face of future collectors. She has distilled what she’s learned about entrepreneurship in her best-selling memoir, The Path Redefined: Getting To the Top On Your Own Terms, and she’s shared her passion for innovation as the Master Marketer and co-star of the Oxygen startup-focused docu-series Quit Your Day Job.Lauren began her entrepreneurial journey at age 19, co-founding a boutique winery, Sugarleaf Vineyards, which quickly became an internationally recognized, award-winning brand. Lauren was the youngest self-made winery owner in the country; she served as Chief Operating Officer from inception through the brand’s acquisition in 2011.Lauren serves on the Board of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Advisory Committee on Cultural Engagement. She is Vice-Chair of The Apollo Theater Foundation Young Patrons Steering Committee, a member of New York Urban League’s Development Committee, a founding member of the Young Entrepreneur Council, and a Lifetime Member of the Children’s Aid Society.
